My child, I am truly blessed,
by your sweet loveliness!
The smile on your face speaks
of your abounding love and grace!
The blue skies are caught
In the twinkling of your eyes!
The innocent blush of rosy pink cheeks,
against ivory skin as my little angel sleeps!
This bundle of joy!
This gift from above!
My heart is filled
with so much love!
I know my days are numbered;
I know that this is very true!
Oh God, hear this mother’s prayer:
