The Journey Of Life
Not much can be told about Rini Valentina, a female writer from Indonesia with the full name Valentina Rini Asih Sasami, who was born nearly fifty years ago in a small town in Central Java, Weleri. The smiling and very friendly woman was born identical twins from a mother named Sri Kadarsih and a father named Sopana Djoeliwal.
She has shown her passion for writing since she was a child by earning an award for writing poetry when she was still in junior high school in Samarinda in commemoration of National Solidarity Day. Then following a local poetry writing competition at various events. However, her hobby seemed meaningless when she entered a public university in her city. The writer who is better known as Rini Valentina was then very busy with lecture activities and her job as a private teacher.
Since childhood, Rini has looked very independent and creative. This could be seen from the way she took a position in various situations including the way she actualized herself. Since she was a teenager, she dreamed of becoming a teacher. But when she got older, she wanted to become a nun. Her humanity and love for God and others made her wanted to fully devoted herself to religious life. But her plans and goals were different from God’s plans. God wanted Rini to love Him in His way.
Of course her failure to serve others and God in a congregation made her quite disappointed. However, this did not discourage her much. Because she realized that loving God didn’t have to be in a monastery.
In 2010, at the age of thirty-nine, she married a man she had met in beautiful town, Jogjakarta. To be honest, the marriage was a form of disappointment at the monastery that had rejected her. She only hoped that God would find her happiness in her marriage later. Again, life was not like a dream. The marriage which she had have for seven years had to run aground in the middle of the road.
From her marriage she was blessed with a son for whom it was the most beautiful gift in her life. A child diagnosed with down syndrome. For her whatever the condition of her son is not important, the most important thing is to accept and love this gift with all her heart.
Failure in her married life actually made her find her true identity. The hidden talent came out like an unstoppable waterfall. She started writing again at the end of 2017. One thing that makes her different from other writers is Rini has the courage to write in three languages, English, Spanish and Indonesian. She is even able to write as well as an editor for her writing and publish it in various publishers like Amazon, Deepublish and Farha.
The multi-talented woman has a motto, for her it doesn’t matter whether her book will become a best seller or not its not important. Writing and actualizing her writing in a book is a form of track record as a writer during their life along the world is more important. Her persistence and hard work paid off with many world awards. In early 2020, she received a high literary award as a foreign writer who published a book in Spanish by Agencia De Prensa Internacional Apreint, Spain.

*An Ambassadeurs De La Paix for Indonesia by Cercle Universel des Ambassadeurs De La Paix, France / Switzerland.
*An international electronic magazine Grihaswamini declared her as a Global Ambassador for Indonesia and in November 2020.
*The UHE officially appointed her as President of the National De La Union Hispanomundial De Esritores for Indonesia 2020-2022.
