Suhartini’s Poem
STRAW HOUSE
I have already told you, don’t go far away!
Because our straw house can not survive from the storm
How could I plant the two young shoots that were sheltering on the pillars of our house?
I’ve already told you before, don’t go far away
It was enough for me to lay down on your shoulder and the sky thatched roof
I’ve already said before, don’t give up to the weeds !
Let the leaves embroider our days and become the fortress of our house.
When we feel tired sometimes, let’s listen to the humming of the willow tree on the river bank.
The clear ripples of the water will dispel our tiredness
Sometimes we can dive deeper on a very hit day
The simple sound of heaven and earth, without the noisy and roar of machines
And we don’t need to rush the day with anxiety
