A Warm Summer Night

A Warm Summer Night

The moon and the stars,
in a firmament of azure blue,
makes me think magnificent
thoughts of only you!

How beautiful and bright the fullness of the moon
casting moonbeams on lovers,
walking hand in hand with their faces all aglow,
planning their now and forevermore!

A shooting star, so bright,
leaves a trail of stardust to light up the night,
Make a wish, quick, before it’s out of sight!
Oh, what a glorious, warm summer night!

Oh, how beautiful the firmament is!
So pure and clean.
Looks so close, but yet so far!
How can we understand the magnificence of a star?
Only God can! His knowledge is superior by far!
